The Empathy Guesthouse is a warm, friendly, and clean guest house in the heart of Daegu Metropolitan City in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Conveniently located downtown near all subway lines and a major bus stop, we're minutes from all train stations and most bus terminals.
Managed by the Empathy for a Better World Foundation, the Empathy Guesthouse is a social venture that generates profit for social welfare programs for North Korean defectors in the Daegu region. More specifically, 20% of our profits go directly to programming for North Korean defectors. Additional information about our Foundation's resettlement work can be found here.
We at the Empathy Guesthouse aim to be more than just a place that provides accommodations to travelers. We hope to be a means in which Colorful Daegu becomes more open and traveler friendly for both foreigners and local Koreans alike. Come and experience the "Jeong" of Korea in Daegu!
